Migraine Headache Trial
Can I participate in the Trial?
Eligibility for potential participants:
This is a scientific study. There are very strict criteria for participating in any medical trial.
To be considered for the trial you must:

Be between 18 and 65 years of age

Have had episodic or chronic migraines for at least one year

Have migraine onset before 50 years of age
-
Suffer at least 6 headache days per month

Be able to access the internet to complete a daily headache log

Live in the New York metropolitan area or be willing to travel for appointments
You must not:

Be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy within 6 months

Be taking blood thinning medication on a daily basis

Have had a prior stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA)

Have active bleeding from any site, or active peptic ulcer disease

Have abnormal kidney or liver function
-
Have a planned surgery in the next 6 months
Other factors may also help determine eligibility to participate.
